| Notes: Upbound in tow of the prop B.W. BLANCHARD, she was rammed by the downbound
freighter W.L.WETMORE(qv) in a passing mishap and sank quickly. All
but one of the crew made it away in her yawl and were picked up by
the carferry HURON. Her remains, lying just west of the shipping channel,
were later dynamited as a hazard. |
