Portage Quarry
Portage Quarry offers a full service Dive Shop with Air Stations, Rental Gear, and lessons. Facilities include: a sandy beach with lifegards, horsehoes, three sand volleyball courts, camping, and catch and release fishing. Reservations may be made for company picnics, class and family renions, and Frat & Sorority Social events.
Portage is located near Bowling Green, Ohio, on S.R. 25 just south of U.S. 6. Take I-75 south from the Toledo area, or north from the Findlay area to U.S. 6. Left on 6 for about a mile to S.R. 25. South on 25 for about a mile. The quarry is on the right (west) side.
The quarry is open Memorial Day to Labor Day, daily from 9:30 am to dusk. Weekends 8:00 am to dusk. Weekends only from Labor Day to Dec. 1 and Mar. 1 to Memorial Day 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Dec. 1 to Mar. 1 by reservation only.
