Notes: Went missing in tremendous gale, probably capsized from the weight of ice in her superstructure. Little information or wreckage was found until the wreck was discovered by accident in '77 in 100' of water. She has claimed at least one diver since. Bound Montreal for Ft. William. Bodies of part of her crew were found on Amygdaloid I. the next spring, sitting around a fire site. They had been chewed, apparently by wolves.
Location: 75 yards west off 12 O'Clock Point on the NW side of Isle Royale.
